Representative Hillary Cassel, co-founder and partner at Cassel & Cassel, has been named vice-chair of the Insurance and Banking Subcommittee of the Florida House of Representatives.
After the Florida legislature enacted numerous anti-consumer insurance reforms over the last two years, Speaker Danny Perez has already started to make good on his promise to prevent insurance company lobbyists from controlling Florida's insurance laws. Rep. Cassel has been representing Floridians against insurance companies for the last decade in the courtroom and will continue her fight in Tallahassee, now not only advocating on their behalves but also setting the agenda for the Florida House of Representatives to assist policyholders across the state.
