FAPIA Presentation - Summer 2018 Case Law Update

Posted by Michael A. Cassel | Jun 06, 2018 | 0 Comments

As many of you know, our own Hillary Cassel, along with  Keith Truppman, Esq., from Mintz Truppman, P.A., presented at the Summer 2018 Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters ("FAPIA") Conference regarding newly released cases in the world of First Party Property Insurance.

As expected, the presentation was a rousing success.  Mrs. Cassel helped provide analyses of the cases and explanations as to how they affect the claims adjustment process.  A copy of the PowerPoint slides shown during the FAPIA presentation can be found below.  Please note that the PowerPoint contains limited information regarding the pertinent holdings in each case but the cases should be read in full in order to adequately determine their complete legal effects.

Remember, every case is different and coverage varies from policy to policy.   If you have any questions about how these cases may relate to your own claim,  please do not hesitate to contact us for a free consultation.
